南通市旅游中等专业学校简介

 南通市旅游中等专业学校创建于1965年，1984年创办职业教育，是全省最早设立的旅游类中等职业学校之一，是江苏省三星级职业学校、江苏省首批旅游专业现代化建设试点学校、江苏省餐饮行业协会副会长单位、江苏省旅游职业教育集团理事单位、南通市旅游培训基地、南通市就业培训定点单位。

 学校位于南通市崇川区狼山镇51号，地处南通市狼山风景区，校园整体布局依托4A级风景区体现独特的人文内涵。学校秉承“厚德”的校训，弘扬“明礼、诚信、创新、合作”的优良校风，坚持“以崇德为根本，以强技为核心，以就业为导向”的办学理念，始终致力于办人民满意的职业教育。师生综合素质高，业务能力强，屡屡在省市技能比赛、基本功大赛中荣获一等奖；学校日常教育教学注重环境熏陶、过程管理、活动体验，并在学生行为规范养成教育、礼仪规范教育、全程管理方面形成特色；在专业建设、课程改革、项目教学、联合办学等方面卓有成效。多年来，学校先后荣获江苏省“职教先进集体”、江苏省“和谐校园”、江苏省“十六运开闭幕式承办工作先进集体”、南通市“文明单位”、南通市“职教先进集体”、南通市“最安全学校”、南通市“社会治安安全单位”、南通市“德育特色学校”、南通市“技能大赛优秀组织奖”、南通市局“五好”基层党组织等多项荣誉称号。饭店服务与管理、烹饪专业为江苏省示范专业，饭店服务与管理专业为江苏省课程改革实验点。

Nantong SeconDary Vocational School Of Tourism 

Nantong SeconDary Vocational School Of Tourism  was founded in 1965, and in 1984 we started to provide tourism vocational education. It is one of the earliest vocational schools that specialize in tourism in Jiangsu Province. Our school is a key provincial vocational school that meets the national standard. It is the first experimental school on tourism profession modernization in Jiangsu Province. Our school is a director unit of Jiangsu group of tourism vocational education. It is the tourism vocational training base of Nantong as well as the appointed school of employment training in Nantong.

Our school is located at 51, Langshan Town, Chongquan District, Nantong City. It belongs to Langshan scenic areas of Nantong. The overall layout of the campus based on  4A level scenic areas reflect the unique cultural connotation. The school upholds the motto of " Respecting Morals ", and carries forward the school ethos of "Courtesy , integrity , innovation , cooperation ". Our school adheres to the school ideas of "Respecting morals as a fundamental ,strengthening students’ skills as the core , taking the employment as the direction.” Our school has always devoted to developing the vocational education to achieve people’s satisfaction. Both teachers and students have high comprehensive quality and excellent ability. They have won a lot of first prizes in the Skill Competitions and Basic Skill Contests held in Nantong and Jiangsu Province. The school daily education and teaching work focuses on the environmental edification , process management , activity experience, and has formed our special characteristics in the code of conduct for students education, etiquette norms education , the whole process management. We have achieved a lot in specialty construction, curriculum reform, project teaching, joint school-running and so on. For a number of years, our school has obtained many honors, such as the “advanced collective of Jiangsu vocational education”, the “Harmonious Campus” of Jiangsu Province, the  “advanced collective of opening and closing ceremonies contractors working  for Jiangsu sixteenth sports meeting”, the “model unit of Nantong”, the “advanced collective of Nantong vocational education”, the “safest school of Nantong”, the “social security unit of Nantong”, the “characteristic school of moral education of Nantong”, the “Outstanding Organization Award of skill competition of Nantong”, “Five-good " grass-roots party organizations of Nantong Municipal Bureau of Education “ and so on. The Hotel Service and Management and the Cookery are provincial model programs of Jiangsu. The Hotel Service and Management Program is the curriculum reform experimental point of Jiangsu.
